Context: Uniting Diverse Artists was an annual community art exhibit and silent auction supporting The Midtown Academy. Each year featured a new theme and venue—ranging from the school itself to partner galleries such as MICA and Jordan Faye Contemporary—requiring a flexible visual and technical approach that could evolve year over year.

The Challenge: Each event needed a distinct identity while maintaining continuity across multiple years, artists, and venues. The website had to showcase diverse artists and artwork, support fundraising efforts, and remain accessible and engaging for a broad community audience.

The Solution: I designed and developed a series of responsive, custom-coded websites paired with cohesive branding and print materials. Each year’s site featured structured artist galleries, detailed bios, and artwork views, along with contact forms that supported pre-bid inquiries for the silent auction.

Key Design Decisions Included:

  • Developing adaptable branding systems that could shift annually while remaining recognizable

  • Structuring artist galleries for clarity and equal representation

  • Designing responsive layouts optimized for both gallery browsing and event promotion

  • Integrating web and print materials into a unified visual system

The Result: The event series ran successfully for four years, supporting ongoing fundraising efforts for The Midtown Academy. While outcomes were driven by many factors, the websites and branded materials contributed to consistent visibility, artist engagement, and audience participation year over year.
